The SRAM Maven Silver B1 Disc Brake is the performance sweet spot in the Maven lineup, delivering the same massive braking power and adjustability as the top-tier Ultimate model at a more accessible price. Built around SRAM’s gravity-focused Maven platform, the Silver B1 combines exceptional stopping power with smoother lever feel and improved modulation.
The B1 generation introduces an updated SwingLink lever architecture designed to reduce initial lever force while maintaining the powerful braking performance Maven brakes are known for. The result is a lighter lever feel, smoother power delivery, and reduced hand fatigue on long descents.
Like all Maven brakes, the Silver B1 uses a large four-piston caliper with four 18 mm pistons, delivering consistent braking power and excellent heat management during aggressive riding.
The Silver version features a forged aluminum lever blade with machined weight-saving cutouts and durable black hardware, giving it a stealthy appearance while maintaining the same core braking architecture found in higher-end models.
Tool-free reach and contact point adjustment allow riders to fine-tune lever position and bite point for their preferred braking feel.
