I have only ridden "dumb" trainers before, so this is a "newby" review. I have trained on the unit a few times using both Sufferfest and Zwift and I'm really enjoying the ride. Wahoo has a simpler app that works just fine if you don't feel like spending the money on the training apps. The Kickr pairs up to my smartphone, laptop, cadence and heart rate monitor flawlessly using Bluetooth and ANT+ respectively. The unit has a real road feel to it and I get a great workout. I have never used a power meter, so I don't have much of an opinion on the Kickr's accuracy, but I really like the feature. I was bouncing between buying the Tacx Flow and the Kickr, and after surfing reviews, I took this route and I am glad I did. So, purchase with confidence. This is a great wheel-on smart trainer.
